Salman Khalid is an emerging photographer and concept-driven editor who is allured by the texture and geometry of the everyday.
He is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Image Arts: Photography Media Arts at Toronto Metropolitan University, where he continues to refine his artistic practice. His work has been exhibited in prominent showcases, including the Flux Group Exhibition and Artspace TMU Photobook Show, where he presented his photobook, Fragments (2023).
Salman has also produced multimedia installations, utilizing coding languages and projection technology to transform two-dimensional images into sculptural forms. Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, Salman is experienced in photography, photo retouching, and editing short films and music videos. He is also knowledgeable in coding languages such as HTML, CSS, Python, and Processing, which he often incorporates into his creative projects.
With a passion for visual storytelling and a commitment to pushing creative boundaries, Salman Khalid aims to create intellectually stimulating and visually engaging works that challenge what is worthy of the lens.
